The Challenge
As the Academy grew and began producing Olympic-level athletes, they needed a brand presence that could match the calibre of their programme. The original identity didn’t fully capture the energy and ambition driving their young athletes forward. The challenge was to create a vibrant, modern brand system that felt as dynamic as the sport itself, while building a digital ecosystem capable of supporting trials, events, virtual engagement, and long-term community growth across multiple touchpoints.
Our Approach
We immersed ourselves in the world of rugby sevens, working closely with the Academy to understand their ethos and the passion behind every session, trial, and tournament. The rebrand centred on energy and movement, translating the intensity of the pitch into bold visuals, punchy typography, and a confident colour palette. From there, we designed and built a responsive website that serves as both a showcase and a functional hub for recruitment, news, and engagement. Our ongoing partnership means we’re embedded in their journey, designing fresh social content for every announcement, trial, and milestone as the Academy continues to grow.
